Dans un Paris méconnu où se côtoient boutiques d’antiquités désuètes, catacombes menaçantes, arrière-salle des objets trouvés, caddies de clochards et coursives de musées prestigieux, Georges, petite statuette en plâtre peint dans le goût colonial des années 50, part à la recherche de sa moitié, Solange. Il va alors vivre des aventures et rencontrer de nombreux personnages, amis ou ennemis, dans un monde secret où les bibelots à figure humaine sont dotés de vie.

Off the beaten track in Paris, from its small run-down antique shops and haunting catacombs, to the back rooms of its lost and found offices, the shopping carts of its homeless and the halls of its prestigious museums, George, a small “Sambo” figurine, in a style typical of the 1950s, is obsessed by the quest for his other half, Solange. His quest is full of ad¬ventures and encounters with colorful characters, both friends and foes, in a secret world where decorative objects come to life.
