La Bûche de Noël de Vincent Patar et Stéphane Aubier remporte
le Grand Prix du court métrage du New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival.
Lors de sa cérémonie de clôture, le New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival a décerné le Grand prix du court métrage à La Bûche de Noël, nouvel épisode de la saga Panique au village de Vincent Patar et Stéphane Aubier. Après Ernest et Célestine, nominé pour l’Oscar du meilleur film d’animation en début d’année, les créateurs Vincent Patar et Stéphane Aubier, conquièrent une fois de plus le cœur des américains.
Un prix qui a laissé Cowboy et Indien, ses personnages principaux…sans voix ! La preuve avec ce petit clip vidéo envoyé au festival dimanche:
Ce Grand Prix est la première grande récompense du film qui débute à peine sa carrière internationale. La Bûche de Noël s’est imposé parmi 75 courts-métrages, dont M. Hublot, récemment oscarisé. Ce prix arrive alors qu’ Ernest et Célestine, leur long métrage coréalisé avec Benjamin Renner, est sorti dans les salles américaines le 14 mars, encore auréolé de sa nomination aux Oscars.
La Bûche de Noël sera présenté en compétition au Festival d’Animation d’Annecy en juin et sortira en salles en France (Gébéka Distribution) en décembre 2014. Tout comme Ernest et Célestine, la série et le long Panique au village, La Bûche de Noël est produit par La Parti Production, en coproduction avec Autour de Minuit production, qui assure la distribution internationale.

the 2014 New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival Grand Prize Short.
At its Awards ceremony, the New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival bestowed its Grand Prize Short upon The Christmas Log, latest episode of the A town called Panic saga, by Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier. After Ernest and Célestine, nominated for Best animated feature film at the Oscars in early 2014, Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier won American hearts.

This award is the first great one of The Christmas Log’s upcoming international carrier. Out of approximately 75 short films, among which the Oscarized M. Hublot, it was the highest rated by the audience of the New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival. Meanwhile, Ernest and Célestine, co-directed with Benjamin Renner, is released in most American movie theatres since March 14th.
The Christmas Log will compete in prestigious Annecy Animation Festival in June and will be released in France (Gébéka Distribution) in December 2014. The Christmas Log is a production from La Parti (Be), in coproduction with Autour de Minuit (Fr), who also handles international distribution.
