Chrysalide (Until) is the first part of a work in three chapters which transcribes different states of the Butoh dance. Originally presented as an installation, Chrysalide plays on the contrasts between this dance, carnal and visceral, and the coldness of 3D, its architectures and polygons, between organic and digital textures. Entirely made in 3D, Iki represents the dancer's breathing by alternating his dance and his rhythm until the total destruction of the body.
