John J. Jones, a man as ordinary as his name, try stand up in a typical English pub with varying degrees of success. As it is delivered, he starts laughing, causes moments of embarrassment and falls into a catastrophic flop. The public, on the other hand, gradually turns out to be offended and ruthless until booing him.
