Homage to Prévert's poetry, Desnos and Apollinaire, this cine-concert brings together 16 film-poems from the "Leaving School" collection, produced by Tant Mieux Prod and France Télévisions, broadcast from 2014 on France TV.

The music and the texts are interpreted or sung live by the musicians-reciters. Short interludes show female directors at work, evoke the context of the making of films, or give back the voice to Jacques Prévert.

Thanks to the extensive instrumentarium of the four musicians (piano, guitar, accordion, melodica, synthesizers, ukulele, clarinet, drums…), the show offers a journey into the popular poetry of Prévert, the humorous surrealism of Desnos, Apollinaire's war memories, in very contrasting tones and colors.
