Jean Lecointre took courses at the Superior School of Graphic Arts in Paris. He then creates his own collages for the press, publishing or television and publishes its first illustrations for Liberation before putting cult images into images “Plasma swing” written by Pierre La Police. In 2003, he switches to animation with “Turkish Delights”, a collection of pastry adventures broadcast on C +. He also tries his hand at the youth edition with “The teeth of the wolf” (2002), “Pets” (2007) and “Fashionable” (2010), 3 particularly noticed works. In 2017, he adapts "Domestic Animals" in 4 4'30 animated shorts plus a 7 'episode.
Jean Lecointre graduated from the Paris School of Graphic Arts. He then started creating his own collages for the press, publishing companies and TV, and published his first illustrations for the newspaper Libération, before bringing to the screen the famous “Balançoire de Plasma” written by Pierre La Police. In 2003, he switched to animation with “Turkish Delights”, a collection of baking adventures broadcast on Canal+. He tried his hand at youth publishing with “Les Dents du loup” (2002), “Household Pets” (2007) and “Fashionable” (2010), three well acclaimed books. In 2017, he adapted “Household Pets” into four animated short films of 4’30, as well as a 7’ one.
