ATHLETICUS by Nicolas Deveaux
Hippos judokas, ostriches gymnasts, basketball elephants, sea lions referees. Wild animals compete in athletic events. From table tennis to the horizontal bar, through archery and high jump, they react according to their personality and the peculiarities of their anatomy, creating comic or poetic situations, but still shifted. Chris Sheperd – Beyond Animation
Chris Shepherd is a multi-award winning director, writer and producer. Since his directiorial debut for Channel 4 in 1997, he has worked on serveral acclaimed and award winning short films, and was among the first to combine digital and traditional animation techniques with live footage in the service of a powerful storytelling.
